Inciper story

Inciper was born out of the belief that technology delivery could be done differently.

For too long implementations of Microsoft Business Applications (namely CRM, ERP and Data & Analytics) have been done the same way with customers waiting months and sometimes years to finish an implementation that often did not then deliver the value that was promised at the start. This was particularly true for businesses in  the mid-market (below £1 billion in revenue) who were neither large enough to be a priority for the big SI's nor small enough to avoid the need to implement them altogether.

As veterans with years of experience in this sector we felt it was time for a new approach. One that not only enabled all Microsoft customers to have access to the same high standard of consultancy, delivery and managed services but also one that leveraged new ways of working to deliver faster time to value, greater transparency and higher rates of adoption.

Our desire was to hire the best experience in the market, combine this with our RAPID approach and deliver solutions in the most efficient and reliable way, whilst working in a truly collaborative manner with our clients.

Why Inciper

Whilst Partners can demonstrate a deep knowledge in the products, they really struggle to embed the new application into the business, leaving highly prized business value behind and a customer wondering how they would achieve the ROI they’d built their business case on.

The shift to Cloud deployed and enabled technology meant that some customers were left with a choice of working with the large SI’s, for whom the projects were simply too small, or to select a Microsoft Partner that doesn't have the ability to extract the core business value and manage the change of implementing a new system.

Inciper are focussed on serving customers with turnovers ranging from £50m to £500m and beyond in some cases, to maximise ROI from their Microsoft technology.

Agile and predictable delivery

Our RAPID approach is a unique blend of agile and waterfall project management techniques that enables us to move at pace while still adhering to clear timelines and project deliverables.

The tooling we use to support RAPID means that we create a fully open and transparent delivery from the outset. Clients get visibility on a daily basis of real progress being made against scope. This allows us to minimise any surprises as our customers go through the project, ensuring any problems are highlighted early, mitigating issues as the project matures and change becomes more difficult.

The Inciper Process Quality Dictionary supports the RAPID approach by creating a single easy to use tool where all system design and change assets are created and stored. Drawing on the strengths of Azure DevOps the tool houses all the assets and data points to support the system years beyond its delivery. A single version of the truth for the entire system and more importantly, one which is used over and over again by your system users.
